The match was held at Enfield, and had a very excited start. Without one of the top score
, Thiago “Galego”, and with the brave Rui Baltar, the manager Rogério de Oliveira decided to have a line up squad with more defensive characteristics. The tactic had a good effect with Kickers having no risks in the first half
The first goal came after a good pay by Eduardo “ Banana”, the other top score. He past dribbled from the left flank and shot. With a deflection, the keeper could do nothing.
Minutes later, “Banana” had scored his 7th goal. The players came from the right to inside and even not well balanced he managed to shoot and make 2x0 clear. No too long, with a beautiful shot, Nick Colley scored to Vaughans, where the base of the squad are the England National Team. Before half time,
Victor De Martino took the Ball and after having pass his marker, put the scored the goal of the tournaments far, making 3x1 to Kickers.
Soon the second half begun, the Keeper Kiko threw the ball to the Vaughans box aiming Banana, however in a miscommunication between Vaughans keeper and a defender an own headed goal gave the blues a 4x1 lead. With nothing t lose and courage, Vaughans begun a full pressure system, however Kiko was in a good form and guaranteed the points. In one of the only times the keeper was bet, Marquinhos safe the goal with a slide before it cross the line.
With Kickers not being brilliant creating goals opportunities, Caio and Victor Hurpia had to show their defensive potential. But wasn’t enough to avoid the second Vaughans goal by Victor Osbarn.
After the game Kickers celebrated the victory at Canecão which is one of the sponsors of the club.
